Amsterdam University Medical Center (AUMC)
AUMC is an academic hospital that offers excellent academic patient care, state-of-the-art scientific research and top-level education and training. AUMC trains thousands of young people to become doctors, specialists or nurses. AUMC has eight research institutes. The researchers affiliated with these are internationally among the top in medical scientific research.
Vrije University Amsterdam (VU)
Since its establishment, VU has been committed to education, research, and knowledge sharing that are both scientifically rigorous and guided by values. VU’s strong research performance, paired with its focus on societal impact, has earned it a solid international reputation. The university is also known for its multidisciplinary approach to both teaching and research.
Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI)
NIDI, the national demographic research institute, conducts leading, high-level scientific research in the broad field of population studies thereby also contributing to solving societal challenges . The research is organized across four core themes, and is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach and is interdisciplinary oriented.
Statistics Netherlands (CBS)
CBS provides relevant and independent figures on a wide range of societal issues. Whether the issue is climate change, sustainability, the housing challenge or poverty, we respond to the need for transparent and accessible information. Within the Healthpath project, CBS has played a key role in selecting the sample for the HLS.
